چکیده

This paper presents an environmental impact assessment of the entire cycle existence tube-vacuum solar collector prototype. The innovativeness solution involved using a phase change material as heat-storing material, which was placed inside collector’s tubes-vacuum. PCM used in this study paraffin. system boundaries contained three phases: production, operation (use phase), and disposal. An ecological life carried out SimaPro software. To compare heat storage, amount generated for 15 years, starting from beginning installation preparing domestic hot water single-family residential building, considered functional unit. Assuming comparable production methods individual elements ETC waste management scenarios, reduction harmful effects on environment by introducing that stores ranges 17 to 24%. performed analyses have also shown method itself manufacturing materials construction choice scenario disposal during decommissioning all play important role its assessment. With increase application advanced technologies subjected recycling, degree decreased 82% compared standard manufacture

Experimental investigation on the effect of phase change materils (PCM) in solar compression refrigeration cycle efficiency

Saving energy is one of the most important challenges of todaychr('39')s world. Reducing electrical energy consumption in compressed air systems is one of the essential requirements for designing these systems. When using domestic air conditioners (dual air conditioners) in very hot areas (Khuzestan) their performance decreases and electric current consumption increases. Therefore, the use of n...

Experimental Analysis of Thermal Performance of Evacuated U-Tube Solar Collector

Energy is one of the essential requirements of livinghood. In present scenario conventional energy resources for producing energy to sustain our lives has become a necessity. Since these sources are depleting at faster rate and cost of energy is increasing simultaneously, so conversion of renewable form of energy is much desired and solar energy is a good resource. The present work is based on ...

Modeling and thermal parametric analysis of U-pipe evacuated tube solar collector for four different climates in Iran

In this study, thermal performance of the collector with analytic and quasi-dynamic method is evaluated based on energy balance equations for each part of the U-pipe evacuated tube solar collector. Using this approach, effect of different parameters such as tube size, overall heat loss coefficient, absorber tube absorptivity, mass flow rate and air layer thermal resistance on thermal performanc...

Performance Evaluation of a Forced Convection Solar Drier with Evacuated Tube Collector for Drying Amla

A forced convection solar drier is designed with evacuated tube collector and a blower. The performance of the designed drier is evaluated by carrying drying experiments at Thanjavur District, Tamilnadu, India with amla. Solar drying of amla is carried at different air velocity flow rates – 4m/s, 4.25m/s and 4.5m/s and is compared with natural sun drying. The temperature of the drying chamber r...
